  1. Hey PH.M.H,

    I appreciate your uploads.

Just a little tip: if you want to deinterlace a video (1080i -> 1080p), the resulting framerate should be double that of the original interlaced recording. Keeping the framerate @ 25fps in the 1080p video makes it look choppy compared to the source.

in ffmpeg, you could use the following filter:
    -vf yadif=1

    1. PLZ E-mail ME : [email protected][Gmail].Com

to talk more about this , as it is new about me the thing u Said
and i have plans to continue releasing these staff

but original broadcasting came with 25 FPS , so i think i should do same FPS , ??

  2. thanks 4 this info sir , i will read them very well
Also u mean interlaced [that any 1080i release] or just those came from feed only
e.g : WWE Raw last night came from original bradcast channel USA on 29.97
that mean can we do it on 59.97 or this will be not good gor the video ?

  3. yes, if it is interlaced 29.97fps, it should be 59.94fps in progressive mode

    for example from the scene:

btw you probably don’t want to use the options from cweiske, I only linked it because he explained deinterlacing fairly well

here’s my suggested options (-map 0:a takes first audio track only)

    ffmpeg -i INPUT -map 0:v -map 0:a -vf yadif=1 -c:v libx264 -crf 22 -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a copy OUTPUT.mkv

    CRF explanation:
    trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.264

  4. There are alot of video encoding programmes and I didn’t used that method I just select resolution and video bitrate and FPS then converting order , u know i jsut start releasing from months ago

  5. just a little warning:

if you just select FPS in whatever encoder you’re using, the result will probably look weird

you explicitly need a deinterlacing filter if you want it to look good

that’s why I recommend downloading ffmpeg, whatever you’re using right now utilizes ffmpeg in the background. it’s just a GUI that puts together the arguments to ffmpeg.

  6. So I didn’t change it , I always leave it as original fps like the broadcast all in all I will do 2 versions of same things and take users opinions one 1080p with same fps + one with 50 fps and see the qualities differentiation
